Trace is one of the most efficient mechanisms to get a deep and non-intrusive (real-time) overview of what’s going on in a microcontroller during program execution. Execution Coverage (Statement and Decision) is a method to analyse the quality of test cases. Access Coverage is used for detecting non-initialized variables or to verify how many bytes of stack were consumed by the user's program. Function profiler helps identifying performance bottlenecks. Data profiler: While a function profiler is based on code execution, the data profiler is based on recorded data accesses. |

By connecting a debugger or emulator to the front panel of LabVIEW, you can use an existing set of graphical objects to analyze the behaviour of an embedded application on any target hardware. You can then use the In-Circuit Emulator or On-Chip Debugger as a development tool for embedded systems design as well as a measurement tool for tests.
