Software

Profiler

Added option Observed core to Profiler Data Areas, which filters out events that come from core that is different than Observed core.

 

 

IDE

1. Changed view handling from toggle (Open/Close) to Open/Focus: Before when selecting View/Project (or shorcut ALT+0) the window would be opened (or closed if it was already opened). Now with View / Project (or shorcut ALT+0) if the window is already opened it will now be focused.

2. eMMC partition unprotect at program: If UserData partition is temporary write protected, it is unprotected before program operation. Updated monitors for R-CAR.

 

Symbols window

Added to Module folders absolute/relative path display. With right-clicking on the Module name it is possible to toggle between relative and path display. 

 

Editor

1. Removed Editor option Silently reload externally modified files. It is available by clicking Tools / Options / Environment / Documents and by checking both Reload externally modified files and Automatically.

2. Added Find windows to all Editors (opened documents in individual windows). The state of Find window is not changed while switching between opened files and the history stays the same.

 

CPU Support

Cortex

Added support for i.MX 8X family:

•i.MX 8DualXPlus

•i.MX 8QuadXPlus

 

TriCore

Added SoC Security check for Aurix TC3xx and TC2xx to prevent user from inadvertently lock a device in Hardware menu / Hardware / CPU Options / Debugging tab. Progress window will display results. By default the setting is Reject programming.

 

 

RH850

Added ECC handler for PE1/PE2. Can read from unprogrammed flash and uninitialized RAM without causing ECC/SYSERR faults. The handler can be optionally disabled in the CPU Setup/SoC Advanced dialog tab.
