Between each two windows or documents is a resize area, which is highlighted when hovering over with the mouse cursor. Mouse cursor as well changes to indicate it.

•By dragging it left/right (up/down for vertically).

•By holding the CTRL key the windows or documents can be expanded to take space from others (horizontally or vertically).

Resizing is canceled by pressing the ESC button.
