winIDEA main frame consists of four main parts:

•Menu - Only the context can be changed.

•Toolbars - More or less static and they can either be visible or hidden. Select or deselect toolbars File, Window, Project or Debug you want to see in View  | Toolbars.

•Windows area - The windows are organized using vertical and horizontal lists of docks.

•Status area (winIDEA Debug Status) - Only the context can be changed.

Presets

winIDEA offers most commonly used layout presets and the possibility to create, edit and save custom made layouts. Each built-in layout preset opens the windows|documents as follows.

Open View | Layout and select a suitable layout preset:

•AURIX Development Studio (ADS) - Debug  - All windows listed below and SFRs

•Debug - High Level - Project, Symbols, Editor, Progress, Locals, Watch

•Debug - Low Level - Editor, Disassembly, Core Registers, Memory

•Edit -  Project, Symbols, Editor, Progress

Custom-made layout presets can be saved via View | Layout | Save As. When saved, it will be saved with the name you defined and placed in the View | Layout under the built-in layout presets.
