Recommended system configuration for optimal Analyzer performance

•100GB free space on the TEMP drive

•4GB RAM minimum, 8GB or more RAM recommended

A more capable system will result in higher overall performance for trace, profiler and coverage and enable recording longer trace sessions (depending on the specific target microcontroller and the frequency at which it operates).

Uninstalling older winIDEA version

If an older version of winIDEA is no longer needed, uninstall it before starting the installation of newer winIDEA. Your winIDEA workspaces will not be deleted.

If an older version of winIDEA is still needed, choose a different folder to install the newer winIDEA. It is possible to use multiple winIDEA versions side by side.
